On Thursday, the Department of Justice released the Mueller Report, in its redacted form. You can find it on the internet, if you are interested in reading it.

What we discovered after two years of investigation and millions of tax dollars spent was that what Barr told us several weeks ago was, in fact, the truth.

And so we are clear, Barr stated in his original letter to Congress, which gave an abbreviated version of the findings, that there was no evidence that anyone from the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government during the 2016 presidential election and there was insufficient evidence to charge obstruction of justice.

And, when we read through the Mueller Report, we find that both of those declarations are true. There is no evidence the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government and Mueller could not find enough evidence to charge Trump with obstruction.

Robert Mueller investigated ten separate instances of possible obstruction of justice and could not find enough evidence to charge the President.

That is not to say that there are not embarrassing things within the report. An argument could be made that Trump did want to take actions which could have been an obstruction of justice but that those around him pulled him from the edge.

The one thing I want to point out here is that President Trump did not evoke executive privilege, which would have allowed him to redact a lot out of this report. He did not.

All the reductions are due to William Barr, Robert Mueller Rod Rosenstein doing the redacting and a result of information for national security, as part of a separate ongoing investigation, and for several other reasons.

So, it does not appear that Barr ever lied or misrepresented the Mueller Report but that fact is not stopping Democrats and the left-wing media from attacking him.

Mueller did find the Russians attempted to influence the 2016 election but the Special Counsel investigation did not happen for this reason. It happened to find out if the Russians acted at the request of the Trump campaign. These are two separate issues and should not be conflated.

The finding of the report is that Donald Trump and the 2016 Trump Presidential Election campaign did not collude with the Russians.

This fact has not stopped Democrats and the left-wing media from cherry picking certain statements in the Special Counsel report, taking them out of context, and proclaiming them as proof of something that the report itself said either did not happen and could not prove.

They just can’t handle the truth that this is done. The report point-blank stated that there was no collusion and that there was not enough evidence to prove obstruction, which itself is a separate issue to collusion.

The problem no is that there are people who will never admit there was no collusion. They will go to their graves proclaiming that Trump is a traitor.

The whole reason this happened is because the Democrats and their allies in left-wing media could not wrap their minds around the fact the Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton. That is it. That is the only reason for the Special Counsel investigation.

Worse yet, the evidence used to launch the investigation was the shady Steele dossier, which was paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

When U.S. intelligence agencies got their hands on the dossier, they could not independently corroborate the dossier.

So, what they apparently did was leak the Steele dossier to the press, and in circular fashion, used its existence in the media as some kind of evidence with the FISA court and making it integral to their intelligence investigation.

But back to my point, beginning almost immediately, there were people who just could not accept Hillary lost. And we have gone through years of absolute garbage because of it.

Still, between the Democrats and the media, I place most of the blame for Collusion Delusion on the media and the use of unsubstantiated leakers. They wanted a Watergate moment.

They wanted their source, or wanted to be the source, to be the next “Deep Throat”. They wanted to make their career by being known at the next Carl Bernstein or Bob Woodward, and really did not care about the truth.

How can we, the American people, every trust, believe or rely on the press ever again, when they were so eager to jump to conclusions, push a one-side narrative, got things so completely wrongs, and now are absolutely unwilling to walk back any of it?
